We start seeing patients on their first birthday .

At this time the child has only a few teeth. This appointment is an introductory appointment when we talk to parents about the  importance of baby teeth and their care to prevent Nursing bottle caries.

Then we see the child every 6 months for recall exam and this way child becomes familiar with the dental office environment.

​

Oral hygiene instructions are reinforced every visit we monitor the patient from  primary dentition through mixed dentition to permanent dentition.

 

As soon as permanent 1st molars erupt we seal them so that they are less prone to have cavities.

Regular check up, cleaning, prophy and fluoride keep teeth healthy and strong.
